At Nanook’s Pet Services Plus we understand that as a dog owner we want someone to look after our dogs welfare as much as you do. We know how important it is to keep our dogs exercised and safe whilst you’re not there, making sure they get enough play and socialising time to ensure they are well behaved and happy.
In an ideal world, we would all have ample leisure time to take our dogs for long or even multiple walks on a daily basis, but unfortunately, work, health or general day-to-day responsibilities get in the way of our dog playing duties. Even if we have a little time to take them for a brisk walk/run around the park in the morning, by the time we return home from a long, exhausting day, it can be really tough to muster up the energy we need to do it all again.
As we all know many dog problems are related to inactivity, lack of socialisation or just plain boredom, at Nanook’s we provide the perfect dog walker solution to your dog while you are at work, away on holiday or are just not able to manage the daily walks throughout the week.

After just a few walks with us, we are confident you will notice a healthier, happier dog and when you come home from work, your well-exercised dog will be ready for a cosy cuddle with you.
OUR LITTLE STORY
Nanook’s Pet Services Plus started with a Wolf Dog named Nanook and his human, Kel. Kel had found that Pet Care services for the ‘larger’ dog breed was not only difficult, but near on impossible. Kel took to working as a dog walker and Pet Carer and has been doing so for over 5 years now. Loving the outdoors, Kel knew that she wanted to offer her own Pet Care Services and decided the time was right to take that leap of faith – being a positive part of the animal loving community and that “back up” for Pet owners when it’s not there.
Nanook has been Kel’s walking companion, running buddy and support and his placid nature has helped other dogs with their fears and anxiety triggers associated with socialising with the larger dog breeds. He has taught Kel a lot over the years and has been her inspiration for changing careers and offering a trusting Pet service to her local community. Sometimes Nanook will join your dog on their walks, always making for one big happy fur gang!!
“I was recently away for 2 weeks and had Nanooks Pet Services look after my beautiful cat, Maisie. I can honestly say, this was the best decision I have ever made! My girl was completely spoilt and pampered whilst I was away, she had playtimes every day and was groomed regularly, which she just loves! I am always worried leaving my girl, as she has to have meds twice a day, but Kel completely put my mind at rest and arranged a visit before I left, to go through her routine and meds and meet Maisie, this meant, I was thoroughly relaxed the whole time I was away. Daily updates and pictures being sent to me were also an added bonus. I came home to find a very happy and relaxed puss. “Kerry is a very trustworthy and reliable dog walker. From the very first moment she made me feel very relaxed and at ease. She is very knowledgeable with dogs, my dog can be quite reactive on the lead but this has never been a problem, and he was very responsive to her straight away. I have used Kerry's services for around 2 years now, she always goes above and beyond to fit me in if I have an emergency and is always around to help and support with looking after my dog. “I would absolutely recommend Nanook’s Pet Services for any of your pet’s needs. Kerry walks our dog Stan multiple times a week as my dad works long hours. Stan absolutely loves his walks with Kerry. She has helped us work on some of Stan’s insecurities and he has improved so much since being walked and cared for by her and getting to socialise with other dogs on his walks. Stan used to be very nervous around other dogs, he would even run off on the odd occasion, but he has improved so much since Kerry has been walking him. “I am so glad we found Kel to take care of our boy! She has been really helpful, flexible and super responsive. She is offering very high quality walks, which has been amazing for socialising our boy. We can see how he is excited when she arrives and how super knackered he is when they return. Kel always updates via text and pictures as well as sharing little tricks for food, remedies for upset tummies or treats. She helped us on so many instances as well as short notice which have been amazing value for us as I work in London. “Nanook’s Pet Services Plus has been a god-send, I have to say. I have a few pets and one of them is getting on and is back on medications. This has not been an issue for Kel, she is confident and very calm in administering meds, making sure my little Daisy isn’t anxious or rejecting them. Kel has a lot of patience and is always happy to communicate and update me. I have a few pets in my care and its great Nanook’s Pet Services Plus looks after all of them under one umbrella when I’m at work. When Bish came out of an emergency operation, she handled everything, the drop off and collection, the medication, the dressings as well as just sitting with him when he was at his worst. I was away overseas for work but by the time I came home, he was already on the mend and limping around, even my vet mentioned how attentive and focussed she was on nursing him back to his normal cheeky self.
